Discerning God's will
Discerning God’s will 3

God exalts the humble. At times people fall off from discerning God’s will because of pride. They think it is only them and gradually they begin to think of themselves, what they will or want without any considerations to God’s will.

Romans 12:3; “any because of God’s gracious gift to me I say to every one of you. Do not think of yourself more highly than you should.  Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that (God has given you.”

As we choose to consciously and constantly do God’s will, let us continue in humility without exalting ourselves. Let us come to God in total humility. And commit to the will of God in total humility. It is God who exalts a person do not seek after vainglory. Seek only God’s glory.

Let us also remember that other Christians too will be about the business of God. Therefore we must be sensitive to our fellow Christians who are after the will of God, as God’s will is paramount. We all collectively do God’s will.

Just as the human body is made of many parts, we Christians are the different body parts which make up the body of Christ, which is the church. We are all necessary to the fulfillment of God’s will.

Romans 12: 4 “we have many parts in the one body, and all those parts have different functions.”

When we are all led by the spirit of God and we all desire the things of the spirit of God.

We must all seek in humility the will and glory of God in perfect submission to God. We will all work in one accord as is pleasing to God.
