James 1:22; “Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to His word; instead, put it into practice.”
Which category do you belong to? The Doers or the Hearers? Answer for yourself. Remember that God cannot be mocked.
If you only hear God’s word and do not act on what it says or commands, you make a fool of yourself. Doing what the word says. Acting on the word is what makes the difference.
No matter what may, receive God’s word with enthusiasm, fellowship with God daily by examining and meditating on the scriptures. This way you grow in the Revelation knowledge of the word of God. As you feed on the word, God’s power is made manifest in you and you are able to exercise a Godly authority over all the devices of the evil one that come your way.
We are refreshed and nourished by God’s words. This is why the enemy will do anything to keep us away from studying the word of God.
The word of God is the sword with which, we defeat the dark powers, spiritual wickedness, principalities and powers and all the exalts itself above God.
By God’s words we stay connected to God. Feed on the words of God — they are life.
Hebrew 4:12; “The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.”
