When praying to receive from God, it is necessary you know that you have to exercise faith. Come to terms with it, it is impossible to please God without faith.
Receiving from God goes hand in glove with exercising faith because the first and foremost you must keep to is exercising faith.
Remember God has given everyone of us the measure of faith, so it should not be a problem exercising faith.
If you find it burdensome exercising faith, there are possibilities that you are exercising faith outside of God’s grace.
You have the capacity to receive from God when you come from the point of grace. This is so because you have the backing of God.
You have to believe that there is God and that He is a rewards those that diligently seeks Him. Coming from this point of view gives you the boost of having trust in God.
By God’s kind of faith, I am not talking of mental strength as in mental exertion of your will. I am taking of the faith that says what God says. The faith that goes in accordance with God’s will and direction.
Mark 9:23 says “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” KJV
Believe in Gods direction for your life. Believe in His words and promises. Trust Him to lead the way while you follow. It is not the other way round of taking the lead in your own will and counsel and expecting God to pursue and follow you.
Sometimes you give in order to receive from God. You give God your time, your presence in church activities, your financial resources if need be. It does not go beyond these three.
Hannah gave an offering unto the Lord and then prayed and told God what she will give if He answers. What really is that challenge come to God with it.
