Romans 1:21–23 “because, although they know God, they did not glorify him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thought and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God, into an image made like corruptible man.”
The way out of any adversity is praise, there are times God allows adversity to come our way that we may grow and transform to another level of glory.
God cherishes our praise so much; remember we cannot pay Him for all that He has does for us.
When we think that God has only done what we feel He should do as God and that there is no reason to praise Him, and then in our foolishness which we think is wisdom, we decide not to praise God. This is a pitfall the enemy uses to trap or withhold the blessings of God from manifesting in our lives.
Do not say you will not praise God, or thank Him because what you expected is yet unfulfilled, when you do so, you then stop attaching importance to God in your thoughts and give little or no attention to things of God. This is deadly.
Doing any of these will not help things get better. When we do any of these, we lack respect towards God, at such moments human wisdom has become foolishness, therefore the person involved in such situation becomes foolish, as the person forgets all the other things God has done for him/her and is still doing.
The enemy at this point makes your thought more disrespectful; and ungrateful towards God.
Because you have refused to give what is due to God to Him; God, God gives you up to your uncleanness because you change the truth of God for lie, your lusts; desires begins to control you.
Romans 1:24–25 “therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lust of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature than the creator, who is blessed forever amen.”
You cannot blame God for this chain-reaction because you are responsible for what dwells in your mind. What dwells in your mind determines what comes out in your life. Do not lose hope, stay anchored to God.
