God's Will vs Self Will
God’s Will vs Self Will

There is always a clear difference between the will of God and self will. Self will often leads us away from God leading us to spiritual rebellion. This makes our foundation faulty.

The will of God leads us to being saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Psalm 78:8 “and may not be like their fathers, stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit wasn’t faithful to God”

We constantly have a choice to choose between God’s will and self will. When we choose self will our heart is not right before God. Therefore the enemy pursues swiftly with the end aim of devouring. Self will make a person stubborn and rebellious toward God. The more you are hardened in self will the more enemy pursues. Self will produces vices.

When we work with God’s will, His grace abounds. Even if the enemy pursues it is certain that he will loose the battle. Working with God’s will brings peace, righteousness, virtues etc.

A person who works in God’s will cannot be overcome by the enemy, unless at some point he deviate to self will.

Roman 12:2 “do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
