Your covenant with God
Your covenant with God

God is a covenant keeping God. When we have a covenant with God, when we respect the covenant we have with God, we create a solid stronghold of God in our life. We create an entrance point for the manifestation of God’s grace and favour in our life and the life of others for every covenant we have with God, Jesus Christ is the mediator, through the covenant we have with God, we receive eternal inheritance

Hebrews 9:15; “and for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance”

When you have a covenant with God and keep to it, the grace and favour of God manifests in you but when you break it, you break the hedge God has placed around you, therefore the enemy comes to attack, to achieve his aim which is to steal, kill and destroy.

When there is a covenant between God and us, God’s laws and precepts are placed in our inward parts and written in our hearts because the imprints of God is upon us. Therefore, consciously or unconsciously, we experience and work in the things of God by default.

Having a convent with God breads on total child trust in God, and keeping to whatever is the covenant becomes a contact point to God. It can be anything that is pleasing to God which the bearer of the covenant must keep to.

Jeremiah 31:31-32 “behold the days some saith, the lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Not according to the covenant that I made with the fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith the Lord".
